Light weight

Not so sure how well it will do deadening sound but seems it will be good at keeping some heat out. Easy to use and durable.

Did the job

I have wall to ceiling glass sliders in bedroom and temperature can be as much as 6 degrees warmer than other rooms (even with insulated drapes). Purchased the reflective insulation in the hopes it would cut down the heat. Window faces ESE and gets about 8 hours of direct sun. Cut a frame out of some Styrofoam and covered with insulation. Insulation very easy to handle and cut. So far I am very pleased with results. The temperature in room is lower by 3 degrees but I still have another slider to cover. I can feel the drapes behind the slider covered with insulation and they are cool to the touch. Without insulation, drapes are warm. I say it's working. Will be making my next frame soon and will place on another slider, I expect the temperature will now be as low as my other rooms or at least very close to them. I'm extremely happy with this product.
