Der fib Model Code 2010 ist ein wichtiges Grundlagenwerk für nationale und internationale Normenausschüsse, Praktiker und Forscher. Der fib Model Code 2010 wurde in den vergangenen 10 Jahren dank der Bemühungen von Joost Walraven (Convener; Technische Universität, Niederlande), Agnieszka Bigaj-van Vliet (Technische Leiterin; TNO Built Environment and Geosciences, Niederlande) sowie weiterer Experten aus 44 Ländern aus fünf Kontinenten erstellt.
