No way to replace without breaking

How could such an expensive bathtub faucet break so easily? There is no way to replace this cap without breaking the small plastic hinge that keeps it in place. Delta, how are we supposed to place these on without breaking them?

Poor design

We bought a Delta shower column and faucet. When it was all installed we attempted to put on the temperature knob and cover and they don't fit together. On top of that, they are plastic. We thought we were buying a quality product. Very Disappointed!!!

Poor Quality

We have purchased multiple Delta faucets and have been pleased with their products in the past unfortunately we cannot say the same about this product. The The temperature control knob is plastic cap and breaks very easily. Very disappointed in this product we now need to spend additional money to replace the part and are having difficulty finding it locally.
