    Finally.

    After buying weather radio after radio, I finally found one with (reasonably) good sound, easy programming, and all the parts I need in the box. No more having to buy an additional this or that. This is a little bigger than a smartphone and a little smaller than a tablet. It looks attractive in the kitchen, And did I mention...it works.

    necessary rural weather snapshot

    Living 60 miles from Tulsa and Oklahoma City with weak immediate weather status, this radio satisfies that gap. The ability to tune into regionalised current coverage is appreciated. Radio size is convenient for travel to our second home in another lightly populated community. Dial in local emergency station and ur weather is again localized. Digital tuner a plus for consistent reception. Red Cross endorsement paramount in purchasing decision.
