I love the design of the base, flex neck and light. The lamp is easy to move about and secure against tipping. The touch switch feels futuristic. The light is great help for my aging vision so I can read small print, do handwork, etc. I bought it on recommendation of a friend to help manage after-meal drowsiness but it is way more useful than just that. A pleasant sensation comes when I turn it on by my side. I can have the bright illumination I crave without forcing my needs on others in the household.
