With the latest Thunderbolt technology you can rely on the TAC-2R for the highest standard performance. It provides super-low latency audio streaming and operation at sample rates all the way up to 24-bit 192kHz. The TAC-2R features two combo balanced XLR/TRS input connectors that accept both mic and line-level signal, Hi-Z switches that allow direct connection of electric guitar or bass and independent gain controls and clip LEDs for each input. Outputs include two balanced TRS jack outputs to connect amplifiers or self-powered speakers plus ¼” headphone jack with dedicated volume control. The high-performance mic preamps provide up to +60dB of amplification, you get 4x upsampling during A/D and D/A conversion for reduced noise and enhanced fidelity and a free Mac application is available for setting mix parameters and adding effects such as reverb and echo. In addition to all this, the TAC-2R can be used as a complete MIDI interface with MIDI In and Out. Constructed with every recorder in mind, the TAC-2R is Bus powered so no AC power is required and comes in a robust metal housing for safe and easy transport to practice and sessions.
