Effective, versatile, cost effective solution

Very easy to set up. Of course it requires a good broadband connection. Great quality calls at a price that can't be beat. And SIP services provide more than typical phone services: like email transcripts of voice messages. Second time I've purchased an Obihai device--converting my home & office to VOIP based calling.

Well working Voip unit

I am happy with this unit. It is working well. You have two lines and you can use up to 4 sip accounts. (It is nice. I have on one line phone with my US number and on the other is a phone with my CZ number in Prague). The only problem is that attache manual is quite short but you can find all important set-ups on web page http://www.obitalk.com. I did not test BT extension. (Using this unit for 2 weeks without any problems for calls to US, EU with US and EU sip accounts).

Great device that works as advertised

I've never tried setting up a VOIP router before but I can say I had this up and running in about 15 minutes including setting up the new wireless phones that I purchased. Set up consists of connecting the Ethernet cable to the wireless router or modem in your home and plugging it in. You also log into the OBI webpage to register the unit (easy.) Now we have a home/business phone again and no phone bill (you do need internet access.) Works great when you set up a Google Voice number (free) as your main incoming phone. It works as advertised and it was easy to set up.
