Key item features

  • Tradescantia Zebrina Purple, 6" Plant, The Plant Farm
  • Tradescantia Zebrina is an old-school houseplant that's still popular today because it's so easy to grow. The trailing stems make it perfect choice for growing in hanging baskets, but it's also stunning when allowed to spread across a tabletop or other surface. This is a houseplant that really thrives in bright but indirect sunlight. The brighter the light you provide your tradescantia plant, the more flowers it will produce. If it’s not getting enough light, the brightly-colored foliage will begin to fade. It is native to Mexico, South America, and Central America.

    Recommendations for growing success:

Watering: Water completely and allow the soil to dry partially before watering again. This plant doesn’t like to dry out, but it also doesn’t like to be constantly wet.

    Temperature: Between 55° and 75°F

Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, do not let this plant dry out!

    Lighting: Bright indirect sunlight

Ceramic pot not included.  Not all items offered online are available in-store.

very disappointed

This item took a week longer to get to me which is ridiculous. I live in rural Alaska but I ordered plants all the time from Etsy and they get to me in a very short amount of time. It was overwatered and when it was packed, the leave were smashed in and the plant arrived mushy and dead. Very disappointed I've tried to get my money back for some other things that arrived broken or never arrived and I've only gotten a refund for one out of six items . I will not be ordering from Walmart again this was the worst experience.
