Trying carbon filters for the first time.

This is the first time I tried these. I just used the pre-filters (foam) before. They get brown instead of the pre-filter now and then the pre-filter lasts longer. I am not sure if my cats like the taste, though. They could be drinking less, now. I guess I will see if they drink more without the carbon filter next time.

I am and always have been extremely pleased with PetSafe products. I have four rescues and all of them become upset if one of my fountains is not up and running bc their Mama is slow to put them back after cleaning. I have to become better at cleaning the pump bc I am not proficient at taking them apart to clean. I wish that they were a little easier to clean (the pump housing) but will never put a bowl of water down again for our furbabies. They love the fountains and drink a lot more water!
