Excellent microwavable soup bowl
Weâve been using two of these bowls for 5 or 6 years now. Theyve been great! Hold a 20oz can of soup easily. Theyâre great for anything really hot. You can easily fill it and carry it around with one hand with boiling soup straight from the microwave. It is true the cover isnât so good. I donât carry it full in my lunch bag. We just set a paper plate under and on top of it in the microwave. Soup will pop and spatter sometimes when itâs getting hot and the plates work as a good catch for that. These bowls are pricey but well worth it in my opinion

Unsuitable first the elderly
I got the dish for my elderly mother in hopes that she could handle it better than a standard bowl. I did not even try the bowl because this insert was ceramic and very heavy. The base did not fit the bowl securely either. I felt it was unsafe for my purposes.
