Reliable, Accurate, and Easy to Use
I bought the American Weigh Scales AMW-SC-2KG for kitchen use and it has worked great so far. The scale feels sturdy, accurate, and very easy to use. I like that it can weigh up to 2000g while still measuring in 0.1g increments, which makes it useful for coffee, baking, meal prep, and other precise measurements. The stainless steel platform is larger than most pocket scales, so bowls and containers fit comfortably without covering the display. The backlit screen is bright and easy to read, and the tare function works quickly and accurately. Another nice feature is the protective cover trays that double as weighing trays. It's compact enough to store easily but still feels durable and reliable. The only small downside is that the auto shut-off can happen a little quickly if you pause during measuring, but overall it's a minor issue. For the price, this is an excellent digital scale. Accurate, portable, and dependable for everyday use.

I wasn't able to find a model that was also water-resistant, so have to use extra care. Found it to be fast enough to settle on the displayed weight, but need to use the supplied cover to elevate a plate so the display is visible.
