These jeans are a great value and recommended. My son is 5 years old and is tall but has a little waist. He is normally a size 4 to 5 but some are too short. I ordered him a size 6 in these but they were too long. I will definitely size down to a size 5 in these. The fabric is very comfortable and not scratchy. It also has an adjustable waistband which is a must have.
