Ok but NOT ENOUGH THREADS!

Perfect fit, but one problem: The threaded section is too short! Our sink is a stone-like material. It's about 1/4" thick. When attaching the drain pipe, i couldn't tighten the plastic drain pipe nut far enough onto the strainer's threads. The plastic nut hit the strainer's metal nut. There weren't enough threads exposed on the strainer unit. I had to get two plastic washers and drill them out with a 1-3/16" forstner bit. I put that between the drain pipe and the strainer. That allowed the drain pipe nut to tighten enough for a no-leak fit.

Attractive, well designed and easy install

Looks and works very well at this time, I see no reason for failures.

Good product, yet has one main defect

Our kitchen sinks are deep and the water level is just below the basket strainer assembly. The holes at the bottom of the strainer assembly rust away after 18 months or so, but the main housing holds up longer. My last piece came with 2 thin gaskets. I tried to use one thin one on the top sink side, but it leaked through. I reinstalled without the top gasket and used plumbers putty instead and had no leaks. I did use a thin gasket on the underside of the sink.
