This is worth the price.

I like that this is adds color by itself and is a good base for lipstick. I want some color on my lips at all times. It does fade over time but I am not having to color my lips every hour.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) To be honest, I wasn't really sure how I'd like this lip stain when I received it to #tryforfree. I like the idea of a lip stain so I don't have to constantly reapply lipstick or lipgloss. I was able to try this brand's Rose lip stain colour from a recent event and at first, I sampled it just wearing it out on the weekend to run errands. I ended up getting a few compliments along the way! People were letting me know how pretty the colour was against my complexion (I've got a deep tan colour going on right now due to Summer). My lips actually felt moisturized throughout the entire time running errands. I tried it again the next day, and I started falling in love with it! Clarins has made a beautiful and lasting lip stain that really works. I'm now interested in grabbing the rose colour as well as the red colour from them.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this beautiful lip stain at the Chick Advisor Cinq a Sept event in my goodie bag of featured products. The tint I selected was in Violet Water. It goes on much less intense than the liquid appears in the bottle. I was pleasantly surprised that it dries to a matte-finish which is my lip product texture preference. The lip colour does not rub off and can be layered nicely with a clear gloss on top. I found that I did not need to re-apply this product as the pigment held for the day :)
