My 1958 septic leach is slowing. Septic tank pumped out less than two years ago. Went strat to septic liberator. Backing up water at toilet no longer a problem. Used the two gallon treatment. Highly recommend. Bought another two gallon to have if needed. Just in case.

Worked great. Septic tank backed up and septic company said the drain field pipe was plugged. We added the liberator and within a week it started working again. Going to put in another treatment just to make sure, but the money I'm spend is much better than the 5000+ it was going to cost to have the leach field dug up.

Problem was water running back in the septic tank after heavy rains. I added two treatments of Septic Liberator Pods over six weeks to the distribution box. I then had the septic tank pumped out, and after two weeks, I will add the seven lbs. of Liberator thru the toilet. The pumper said the tank looked the best he's ever seen and pointed out the "bugs eating on the top". He pumped from the bottom as not to lose them. Apparently some had back flowed when adding to the dist. box. He said if they were there, then they were most definitely in the lines eating the mats, which seems to be the problem. We won't know for sure if the treatments have worked until heavy rains come, probably this winter.
