Rectangular Indigo Umbrella 6 1/2' x 10'

I Love this umbrella. It covers my small 7'x11' deck. The Only problem is that it is very heavy when opened and REQUIRES a very heavy base to compensate its weight, otherwise it will bend with plastic/composite bases [especially in the heat & sun]. If you use heavy duty velcro around the crank handle it should help with it not closing on its own. I intend to purchase a large utility bucket at the hardware store to fill with cement and place the lower pipe in it [protecting the metal] to harden and remain as a permanent base, hopefully this will help [we'll see]. I DO AGREE with closing the umbrella when not in use [again with heavy duty velco strips] to keep it closed and secure.

Mostly love it!

Umbrella was easy to put up, looks great (red color very nice; even got compliments from neighbors), and covers our 6’ rectangular table well. But the pole that goes through umbrella hole in table does swing around, swinging the umbrella around. I tried to stuff some plastic into the extra space, didn’t help. I wish there was a spacer included. Otherwise, love the umbrella!
