This product is intended for residents with involuntary hand closure. It is tapered to the natural contour of the hand for continued comfort. It also serves the purpose of preventing residents from digging their fingernails into their palms and also provides a mild form of hand exercise. The elastic band separates the fingers, and also prevents the grip from being dropped. It is filled with resilient polyester pile, and has an outer soft micro-fiber cover. The cushion grip can be laundered.
