If you are wanting to save time, have difficulty using your hands, and enjoy zucchini, I highly recommend getting the Hamilton Beach Spiralizer! I have a hand spiralizer, but as much zucchini as I eat, and as difficult it became for me to spiralize several times a week, it made sense to me to have this appliance. This is very quick to use "Right before your eyes--TA-DA!", easy to clean and very similar in size as a basic blender to store. If you are wanting to spiralize more than just zucchini, summer squash and carrots, I would recommend the hand-crank type for other types of vegetables. I use this for all my "spaghetti", "fettucini" and "ribbon" -type dishes which I have a LOT recipes so I am never bored. :)

I decided to spring for an electric spiralizer instead of the manual kind, and I'm so glad I did! I plan on primarily using it to make zucchini noodles, and so far it has been great for that purpose. It's really easy to use, creates perfect noodles, and is really easy to clean up. I can spiralize six large zucchinis in less than 10 minutes. You just gently push them down through the chute and the they feed right through at a good steady speed. The blades are sharp and it never gets clogged up or has any kind of issues. Clean up is fast and simple and there aren't a million parts or crevices to deal with. The first time I used it I was absolutely amazed at how easy and fast it was! I just love it! I highly recommend spending the extra money for an electric one because in the end you will be grateful for all the time and effort you have saved versus the handheld kind!
