The handles and non-wood materials make it very durable. They are a little pricey. However, they are much cheaper than their counterparts. They make a room look organized and stylish. As for the colors, please beware that they are not your standards of red, green, and blue. I ordered those colors and discovered that they are muted. They almost appear to be autumn colors. It would have been great to have slightly brighter colors. The berry comes probably closest as a slight cranberry. Without having them in hand, they might be difficult to match. This might be important for decorating purposes. The small basket holds composition books with relative ease. There are handles. Also, the totes are rather lightweight. For teachers out there, composition books work much better than standard notebooks. Yes, the composition books cost more, but the ease and style are priceless. These baskets are meeting my needs, especially with smaller hands.
