# 78054 Firebird fuel tank 1978

Fuel fill neck is lower than original tank neck I cannot put a gas cap on, it hit the metal of car. It needs to be bent up some so it is centered in the hole. I am afraid to bend it up and damage where it mounts to the new tank Tank does not appear to be damaged but fill neck does stick out of box Tank came in.

I bought this thinking it would be a plug and play but it does not even come close to fitting my 1977 trans am
