This is the 2nd heater I've owned. The first one lasted 2 northeast winters with heavy use. The main reason i like this unit is because it heats the floor, and when using it on tile or concrete, I feel it increases its efficiency. It is also extremely light and portable with a small footprint

I purchased this heat storm Phoenix 1000 watt heater, to use in my living room, I have no central heat and being in a bad winter season its hard for the gas trucks to get to us. It works perfect I've had it on auto for an entire day for about a 300 square feet room. It heats the room nicely and the adjoining kitchen as well. Thermostat works as it should, plug hasn't gotten hot nor has the wall. Did have it in the floor the first day , it makes the floor warm but not real hot. I'm glad I made the purchase, and would purchase again in the future if needed. Thaks heat storm for being dependable, and so far reliable.
