It is really easy to assemble BUT the bolts that tighten the tree into the stand did not actually tighten. They were too small and just fell out. The tree can stand without them but if the tree will be in a high traffic area or kids or pets, if find a back up to secure it. Otherwise it folds out really nice. You can make it really fluffy. It's tall and wide! Mine turned out being too wide for the space but since it comes in three tiers, i just didn't use the bottom tier and it fit perfectly! Just a hack that happened to work out.
