Cetirizine tablets provide symptom relief of allergic rhinitis, i.e. sneezing, runny nose, mucus, congestion and headache. Each antihistamine tablet contains 10 milligrams of cetirizine HCl to relieve your worst allergy symptoms, indoors and out, for a full 24 hours. Cetirizine is the generic version of Kenvue's Zyrtec®. Most people find cetirizine causes them to be drowsy and some find it works best when it's been taken the day before; you may find taking a cetirizine tablet before bedtime not only helps you get to sleep but wake up to a sneeze-free day.
