Berkshire Home 54" Husk indoor/outdoor fabric

I ordered 1 1/2 yards of this fabric to update a window shade in our garage which gets a lot of Arizona morning sun. The home dec fabric is polyester with a white canvas colored backing. The Husk pattern has classy woven men's suiting look with a matte finish in a Stone color (a blend of grays)and has a smooth finish. I serged the cut edges which were a bit ravelly %26 so there was no bulk on the sides of the shade, glued it to the roller dowel and added a hemmed channel for the flat wooden weight bar at the bottom. It stitched easily with polyester thread and normal stitch lengths %26 a size 10 needle. I cannot yet tell how it will hold up in the window (glass has UV protection) but I feel that it will perfect for my purpose. The shipping was a bit pricey but it arrived quickly via USPS. So far I am pleased.

This is a nice quality upholstery fabric, especially for the price. I'm recovering an old foldout couch and didn't want to spend a lot. I had bought this same fabric years before to recover dining chairs and it's stood the test of time and it looks beautiful.
