I absolutely love this computer! I almost downgraded one level to get the nVidia3060 graphics card but I'm glad I didn't. The graphics on the Swift X1 are absolutely stunning, the colors brilliant. I play a lot of games as well as work. Other reviewers don't think it stands up to the Predator for the serious gamers and they are probably right but I don't do the complex, fast moving online competitive games and for what I do, it's excellent. I also use it web design, make an occasional brochure, keep track of my finances and am always on the net searching for something. I set out looking for a machine with beautiful graphics, a number pad, a good-sized screen (I am not enamored with the trend to postage stamp sized computers) and because I actually have my laptop in my lap for eight to twelve hours a day, I need one that runs comfortably cool for long periods of time. I also want a metal case because plastic is heavy, and I think, rather tacky. Okay, because nothing is absolutely perfect, I should come up with a complaint of some sort, so here is all I have. I would complain because it's rather pricey, but you get what you pay for. It is rather irksome that only itty-bitty ones come in a choice of colors. My last computer was a Swift 5 and the case was gold color metal. I loved it. I know, that's trivial but it's the only thing I could find to whine about, I love this computer! If you are a serious gamer, spring for the Predator. If you want a versatile machine for business, home, watching video and light game, one is fast, responsive, runs cool and has a beautiful design, you may love the Swift X as much as I do.
