Specialty tool designed to fit Detroit Diesel DD13 and DD15 engines. Frequently used with the J-47487 Cantilever Tool for DD13 and DD15 Engine Idler Gear Timing (NOT INCLUDED). This tool is used when installing the crank gear on the crankshaft. Simply rotate the crankshaft to Top Dead Center (TDC) on cylinder number one and lock Crankshaft TDC Locating Tool into place with bolt.
