There is no need for a base coat as it will negate the performance since the adhesives are already in the color coat. The patent-pending technology works with natural light to create an enduring, long-lasting polish. While ordinary polishes deteriorate over time, vinylux dries naturally to a flawless finish and strengthens its resistance to chips over time. Directions step 1 - you can pre-treat dry or hard nails with CND solar oil cuticle treatment. Step 2 - apply two thin coats of vinylux weekly polish step 3 - finish with one coat of vinylux weekly top coat for extra durability and shine.

A Non Gel, Gel Polishes Look
This is a beautiful color nail polish. It is super pigmented and the smell is not offensive. It is fast drying and does not require an led or UV lamp. I appreciate that those of us with nail/acralyte allergies can still wear beautiful polish that is hypoallergenic., though it still has some lower dose ingredients that may irritate some. I will post a picture of the ingredients list. So far, I love the consistancy. It is not too thin or thick but gives that gel polished look. I do not know about longevity yet.
