Door install a challenge
The installation of the door handle is a challenge. You have to feed a screw that has a welded washer on it's head thru a slot in the back of the door, while you are pulling the rubber insulation way back. The slot under the rubber is too small for the washer to fit thru so the screw can't reach the handle threads. The documentation shows the washer separate from the screw so my guess is they changed the design - but previous buyers probably just threw the washer away to get the screw thru. I had to grind down the sides of the washer to get it to fit thru the back slot. I suppose I could have drilled a larger hole in the back side but I didn't want to take that chance of damaging the rubber seal. Another issue is the wooden shelves are a nice touch but their thickness means fatter wine bottles probably won't fit. The cooler operates well and looks good which is why I went thru all the washer trouble..
