Perfect Whistling kettles are so difficult to find. This one is the best. Revere used to be my go to, but their whistles became iffy in the last 20 years. The opening/closing device is excellent too. Works perfectly on our new induction stove.

Nice tea kettle

It's a nice solidly built tea kettle. It's a much thicker steel than my last tea kettle. The handle on the kettle doesn't move. There is a button on the handle, that you use to flip open the small flap that covers the opening you pour from. Which is nice, you don't get your hands near the steam or hot area of the kettle.
