The Universal Fader Wings are modular accessories for the Eos, Ion and Congo jr lighting control consoles. They may be connected physically to either side of the Ion or Congo jr consoles or may be used as stand-alone wings connected to any of the Eos, Ion or Congo jr consoles with a provided USB cable. An external power supply, included, is required when used stand alone.
The Universal Fader Wings are ideal for broadcast and studio applications where quick manual lighting is required and for school and worship venues where less technically skilled staff need to be able to easily change lighting, without keystroke-command knowledge. The Wings are also recommended for use whenever Congo jr is serving as a backup console to a Congo, and fader access is paramount. Modularity allows the user to employ the Wings during show setup or programming and then remove them conveniently when they are no longer required for playback. Universal Fader Wings are compatible with Eos, Ion and Congo jr using the following guidelines: With an Eos console or Eos RPU, up to three wings may be attached, for a total of up to 120 external faders: 3 x 2 x10 Wings or 3 x 2 x 20 Wings, or any combination of up to three wings total. With an Ion console, up to six wings may be attached, for a total of up to 240 external faders: 6 x 2 x10 Wings or 6 x 2 x 20 Wings, or any combination of up to six wings total.
With a Congo jr console or Congo Light Server, up to two wings may be attached, for a total of up to 40 master playback faders: 2 x 2 x10 Wings or 1 x 2 x 20 Wing (if a Master Playback Wing is already connected, no additional wings may be connected). Universal Fader Wings are not compatible with the Congo console.
