Sturdis Shoe Storage Bench with Cushion - Espresso

This cabinet is just perfect. The design is simple, lovely and modern, I especially love the look of the doors. While I originally bought this to store shoes, the design looked so lovely in our game room that I decided to put our board games in it. A huge change to having them messily displayed on a book shelf. I also LOVE that this storage closet doubles as really cute bench. We also needed a little place to sit and maybe read a book, and this works well. All in all it not only does a great job at hiding our otherwise messy stuff, but adds nice design to our room. A bonus, it would work nicely with two benches side by side if you want something a bit longer. In terms of construction and function. I am super pleased with the soft close doors and the cushion is soft but sturdy. Given is in our game room it is particularly helpful that the cushion comes in a soft grey (easy to hide stains) and as a bonus the cover on the cushion is washable. Is surprisingly sturdy for the price and easy to put together. All you need is a screw driver and about 20 minutes. Another great feature is that the shelves can be taken out or moved up or down with three different positions. If I decide later to use it for shoes, this would give room for flats on the bottom and ankle boots on top.

This shoe storage unit is perfect for under my window. It is a nice size and also doubles as a sitting bench… perfect for putting on your shoes. It is suitable for a piece of furniture that needs to be put together. It was fairly easy to assemble, and instructions were easy to follow. The cushion top is 2 inches thick with a nice tweed material. The cushion is very, very firm. I am very happy with the storage bench as it is exactly what I was looking for without spending a lot of money.
