Great game for the little ones.
The game was bought for my granddaughter. She loves it. The light bugs do come popping out. She is still learning to catch with the nets, but at two years plus she is having fun anyway. Game does exactly what it says and there are some lightbugs that glow as stated. However, not so much during the day, and wish there were more more of them. Overall, pleased the elephant does what it says and it was a good purchase.

Fun, but over too quickly
This game was recommended to me by a friend who has five grandchildren--it is a fun toy, but the little butterflies that shoot out of the elephant's trunk come fast and furious and then . . . nothing. An adult must sit and feed the tissue butterflies through a slit in the trunk one-by-one (tedious), or turn-off the game, remove the top, collect all the butterflies, and re-insert them. Having said all of that, the kids LOVE this game and play it for long periods of time. When the kids get a bit older, they can gather and feed the beast.

The piece that holds the ears in is rubbery and difficult to put in the hole they go in. If you don't use the ears or they fall out, the butterflies don't come up as well. Other than that, it is a fun game. It is not exactly how I remember as a kid, but my daughters love it
