I got these for my hubby, who spends a lot of time outside in the cold. He asked for thermals. I'm always trying to spend the least amount of money, and I think at the time these were 8 or 9 bucks. They're weird. They're not thermals. They're... silky, nylon, net. Like basketball shorts materiel. He said they sort of worked to keep him warm because he was wearing an extra layer, but they weren't thermals. They might work for someone that just wants jammies to hang out in, but I definitely wouldn't get them to keep someone warm....
