Just OK

Purchased new GE electric range Dec 2015. Wanted a quality, made-to-last, basic range; no frills, gadgets, or high tech/expensive parts or repairs. DRIP PANS - Black enamel drip pans have rust where burner brackets sit. Washed with cloth & non-scour sponge only yet enamel has chips, dull spots, and a never-clean-look visible on both top & under sides. At this rate, we will have to buy new pans every year. SELF-CLEANING OVEN - feature is a waste. It takes less time to clean by hand + oven is truly clean. KEY PAD AREA - good luck ever having that area truly clean. Soap & water on a cloth or non-scour sponge aren't enough but anything else will scratch/remove print. I'm disappointed that the Craftsmanship and Quality are not like my old GE appliances that lasted 20 years.

Sensi burners are horrible

I cannot boil water with these burgers, they keep turning off right when it starts to simmer. I can't cook eggs with a small non stick skillet without holding the skillet down with my hand. I wish I had not bought the stove. Are there replacement burners that are not sensi?

Worst features

I am not happy with sensi temp technology I make wheat bread on a pan and it needs constantly high temperature without pauses. But this technology ruins all my bread that I am making on it. I have to change it. It is frustrating. I would say some maintenance technician come to my home and increase the desired temperature of the oven.
