The Tekonsha Breakaway System features a Push-to-Test LED to indicate a full charge. The multi-stage integrated charger provides a fast recharge up to 12.8 volts. Once the battery is fully charged, the automatic float mode is designed to provide a continuous charge without overcharging. The braking system activates the trailer brakes upon separation of the trailer and the tow vehicle and is intended for use on single, dual or triple axle trailers equipped with electric brakes. The heavy-duty polymer case that protects the battery and charger is both weather and corrosion-resistant. Battery Box Dimensions: 5" x 4.125" x 4". Flat surface mounting only (additional mounting brackets sold separately).
