Northeastern Exhaust Resonator & Muffler Fits 2002-2006 Nissan Sentra 2.5L Sedan - Direct Fit | Stainless Steel System Kit

This exhaust kit is NOT a direct fit for a 2004 Nissan Sentra. The pipe section in front of the resonator that connects to the catalytic converter was shorter than the OEM pipe, and the flange/pipe was crooked. It would not line up or seal correctly at the catalytic converter. To make it work, I had to buy an extra 16-inch pipe, cut the catalytic-converter connection, and weld the new pipe plus the flange/connector where the bolts go. The hardware was also wrong—all four bolts were the same, but the rear bolts should be 5/16”, so I had to buy the correct bolts separately. On top of that, one of the hanger hooks that goes into the rubber exhaust mount was pointing the wrong direction, so I had to cut it and I still need to weld it to fit properly. I don't have a lift—everything was done on the floor using a car jack, which made this even more frustrating. This kit cost me extra time, money, and welding just to install. Do not buy this if you're expecting plug-and-play or true direct fit.
