Hartz UltraGuard Topical Flea and Tick Prevention Treatment for Cats & Kittens, 3 Treatments

This product works okay for protecting my outdoor cats from fleas. They still get an occasional tick, so I like to brush them or pet them every day to check. It's a little hard for my old fingers to get the cap off and punch the hole in the top. I need to open it up ahead of time and then put the cap back on until I'm ready to apply it; have to carry it upright so it won't leak. It's a little smelly, so some of the cats can tell that I'm carrying an open one and they sometimes run off. I then look for another cat that is due for their treatment. It's hard to get all of these meds on a cats skin; some always ends up on their fur. I've tried to spread the fur with my fingers then squeezing the tube, but they don't usually stand still; some cats are ticklish on the back of their neck.
