Better quality

This handle is much better than the plastic ones sold everywhere else. I put one on the driver's side a couple years ago and now have one on the passenger side after going through multiple plastic ones. Should be the last one I have to replace.

Much better

I have owned 3, gen 1 tacomas and inevitably end up replacing the door handle with this metal latch replacement, only to end up swapping the Tacoma for another with the oem fail handle. Now I have an 01 3.4 TRD manual, and both pass and driver's side have metal handle latches so I can sleep easy.
