First of all, the packaging the holders come in is better than I have seen from other products. It has a resealable flap that will keep the holders nice until you need to use them. The certificate holders themselves are of sturdy design. When one cannot afford the fancy, cushioned, diploma holder, or there are just too many diplomas/documents to feasibly use the 'high-end' holders, these are a great substitute. The paper used is good quality. The holders are sharp-cornered, giving further evidence they will stand up to the test of time and protection for important and memorable documents. The embossed, gold-foil design is crisp and looks classy. The holder will protect an 8 x 10 diploma/certificate with small, next to invisible, tabs at the corners. This is nice, because it allows one to focus on the document and not the tabs holding it. There are other colors, including black and deep red. I selected the navy blue. As an educator, finding a sturdy and durable certificates holder that students will appreciate and 'want' to keep for years to come is essential.
