good choice for regular driving like most do

my putt-putt needed another set of tires and considering she's an economical car, I decided to research economical options versus the previous $130-a-tire ones I got last time. the Armstrong's seem to have good reviews but not many of them so perhaps my review will help others. I've driven about 450 miles since these were installed with most of the mileage on rain-soaked highways, however, I also done some neighborhood and secondary road driving. today was the first snow of the season and I drove about 40 miles on local roads that had a base layer of ice covered with a dusting to an inch of snow. impressions: I'm shocked at how quiet these tires are. they handle fine on rain soaked highways, too. the car feels planted on dry and wet pavement. there was wheel slippage and traction control activation on today's ice and snow but that's to be expected. considering the excellent UTG ratings of 700AA for this tire and the low cost, if I get 40k miles from these, I'll be happy. kudos, also, to the auto center in Carlisle for getting the vehicle in and out in about an hour. assuming nothing weird happens with these tires, they are a real value for similarl low-performance cars.

Winter has a Ford because we didn't have much snow

I drive about 3,000 miles a month. I've driven in heavy rain already and I've had zero problems with the tires. No hydroplaning and I tend to drive relatively fast. Of course I pick the high Lane because it has better drainage but still, I had no problems in heavy rain. I hate roundabouts but these tires give me very good traction. That's about it can't see much more I would definitely buy them again. As much as I drive that may only be 2 years from now.

Shocked how much better ride is with these tires

I don't have a lot of miles on these tire yet...but the ride is much quieter and much smoother than than the previous OEM tires I had. I have not yet driven in wet conditions nor winter conditions, so I can't yet speak to those particular conditions, but I can't imagine any poor performance. These tires are excellent at a very reasonable price point. Only time will tell with longevity/tread wear, but I'm a new fan and would highly recommend thus far.
