Great for off-grid

I was looking for a solution to cooling down in a hot arid environment while also not draining my off-grid solar. This evaporative cooler is great! It only draws 75 watts on low and 90-100 on high. Uses quite a bit of water, have to refill daily, but the breeze coming out of it is cool and refreshing and very worth the money. Love it!

Great for RV use

Purchased this to use in a 30ft fifth wheel. Plan to use this while dry camping since my batteries and inverter can easily power it. Air conditioning that can be powered via my solar, how cool is that? Currently using it near Lewiston Idaho where the afternoon humidity is usually no more than 20-25%. It lowers the air temp 15-20 degrees. I've put it in a window in the living room, opened the bedroom and bathroom doors, and run the fans in bathroom and bedroom to exhaust air. This creates a good air exchange helping to manage the humidity. One can feel definite cool air movement standing 8ft in front of this thing. I think it would work well outside for one or two people. The air would get very wet very quickly if there wasn't a good air exchange or if the humidity wasn't pretty low to begin with. I would hesitate to use this in humidities over 60%. . We love this
