I have used this product to affix patches to my martial arts uniform for years. Carefully following directions is very simple, make sure patch has fabric uncovered by any plastic backing and simply draw a 1/4" bead around circumference and iron hot (cotton or linen) for 30-45 seconds on the front then 30-45 seconds on the back and let it cool. If heating is too short, it won't take. I have had patches on 4 uniforms for over a decade, into the washer and dryer on high no sweat. Only problem came when it was time to change patches, but heat with the iron worked well as directed to remove the patch. Shelf life may be limited, after 8-9 years on the shelf I had 1/2 bottle separate and it no longer worked, so off to get new bottle. Great product.
