Correcting a False 1 star rating

I own several of these , only one failed in 12 years and it is being promptly replaced by Kwikset ! The Poster that gave a 1 Star Rating failed to realize that there are an Inner and an Outer plate and that the two must align in-order to install the screws . PS there is a small alignment tab on either side to help with this . (Older models don't have this feature , but I can clearly see from his pictures that his is a newer model )

adjustable striker tab

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tab on the striker plate is adjustable, keeps the door closed tight, no rattles when the HVAC kicks on. Customer service department VERY responsive with the one and only issue I have had in 5 years

Really was easy to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace the knob on the door to our garage. I purchased this keyed entry knob and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install. I especially liked that the latch could be adjusted to center into the existing door hole just by moving a pin. The directions were easy to follow. I also found I could adjust the strike tab so that the latch bolt is held more securely. No more loose door once it is closed!
