Holds up in the elements. Have had this outside in the mid west for three years so far and still looking good. Bought more this year to replace bamboo that only lasted one season. Eucalyptus is definitely the way to go. Use no grow fabric spikes to hold it in place. Boarder stays above ground so will not affect drainage.
