Outstanding glasses for a doll with style! This item is perfect for dolls, who 1/6 scale for ex. Barbie and Ken dolls. The amazing thing is that these glasses lens look real adding a sense of realism to styling your dolls. I don't recommend for children unless adult has determined, that the child has a high-level of respect for their toys age the age the age 7 and up. The materials could cause injury if handled improperly by a child. However, for the mature doll owner these are the perfect glasses to show case a sense of style for your dolls. I'll never go back to fake lensless glasses for my dolls! The frames are wire and lens are plastic. I have bought all available styles of these glasses and love them. I plan to buy another grouping soon. Even as a child collector, I preferred my Barbies to look as realistic as possible, that's simulating life, so glasses will be the only styles that I'll be buying in the future. The vendor takes wonderful care to encase them, in a white scratch less container, that perfectly fits around the open frames. Having them open and not folded ensures that there's less possible of damage. I plan to add a small photo to the outside of the case to identify the lens for easier access of the lens that I need for styling projects. The frames are not flimsy and are built sturdy, but as mentioned not for the younger end of a doll owner. The adult must weigh and discuss safety with the young owner of them and supervision is advised. Proper storage back into the case, will ensure they'll be ready for the next play or dress up session.
