it makes me sad that they changed the name from Aunt Jemima and the iconic Aunt Jemima bottle from to this new name. It thrilled me to see that black bottle and her sweet smiling face that had nothing at all to do with race. I grew up with that bottle on my breakfast table and not once did I think or hear anything derogative about it...only that it was the best pancake mix and syrup that was to be had. So of course, i had a fondness associated with the Aunt Jemima brand and pancakes. That being said, supposedly this is the same pancake mix and syrup that just changed its name and logo and now just looks generic. a generic looking box and generic looking syrup bottle. It's still good but imo would taste better with Aunt Jemima featured on the box and the iconic syrup bottle of Aunt Jemima. why do the best things have to change?

I love love love this brand. I use it on my pancakes and waffles. The kids also love this brand as well. This size last us a little while. really enhances any pancake.
