Holy Science (Hardcover)

This obscure book is a foundational text for Sanatana Dharma in the West. It's a challenge even if you are familiar with Hindu thought, but other people have penetrated it and promoted what it teaches. This edition is important because it has translations of the Sanskrit slokas which aren't present in the original edition (because it was written to Indians who knew Sanskrit!), but this text has been changed from the original, so be sure to get the Meritor edition of the book, too, because you want the original text before it was edited by SRF. All this is a lot of work, but if you want to understand how Hindu ideas has permeated the West, you have to do it. This text is short, dense, and difficult, but it's important.
