Cheerful colorful, over the knee, small itching

Very cute and cheerful! The best surprise was that these were actually long enough to come up OVER my knees as shown in the picture. I was afraid they'd be shorter, to the knees or under them instead, and not accomplish the purpose of warming my legs in winter, especially at night. The foot portion is roomy enough for my size 9 shoe foot, and not too short or tight in the toes. My only concern has been they're a little bit itchy on the skin, I suspect the yarn content has some wool that typically has that trait. I'm using a fabric softener on them to help.
