The inspiration for this book came from comparing their two experiences in the NICU and wishing they had someone to warn them and talk them through the events that Faith and her family would be facing, both the good and the bad. Advice takes on a new meaning when someone has personally gone through it.

The title "From Heartbreak to Healing Hearts" comes from a time, in the authors life, where her darkest moments were brought to light and explained and why some things had to happen the way they did. And for this she was grateful and was able to begin the healing process.

This book was written from a mother's perspective. Front row from the eyes of a mother pleading with God that things work in the best situation possible for their children. She hopes this book brings hope to the hopeless and helps build faith in those who feel their faith is lost. Knowing that someone else has gone through what you have or are, experiencing speaks volumes for the speechless. Having a premature baby is not easy, and definitely NOT your fault and unfortunately things like this happen. Just know that you are never alone.
