Very disappointed

Bought this item for my grand-nephew to replace lost one he had been given by his teachers as a reward. When received and inflated, it turned into a "watermelon ball." That is, there was apparently a manufacturing defect which caused the ball to inflate unevenly, with one side being oblong and the color lightening significantly, causing it to look just like a watermelon. Of course, the kid liked the fact that it now "bounces funny," but I have to wonder just how long it is going to last before it explodes!
